The DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama is situated in Rathmines which is 3 km south of Dublin city centre.

From Dublin Airport
By taxi: a taxi from the airport to Rathmines may cost up to €50 depending on time of day/traffic.

By Aircoach:
The Aircoach to Dublin city centre (O’ Connell St.) is a direct and frequent service. A single ticket costs €6.00 and a return ticket costs €11.00 (online prices as of January 2016). Tickets can be booked online, bought at the Aircoach kiosks at Dublin airport (Terminals 1 and 2), or purchased from the driver when boarding the coach. From the city centre, there are several bus routes to Rathmines (detailed below). Taxis can be flagged down and there are taxi ranks throughout the city centre also.

By bus: The following bus routes bus routes also go from airport to the city centre: 16A, 41, 46X, 747, 748. See Dublin Bus for details. This is the cheapest – but slowest – option.

City Centre to Rathmines
By taxi: From the city centre (time and traffic permitting) a taxi should take about 10-15 minutes.
By bus: The following buses go from the city centre to Rathmines. Please note that change is not issued on Dublin Bus so have the exact fare (or as near to the exact fare as possible). Fare prices can be found on the Dublin Bus website.
From College Street (Beside Trinity College): 15, 15A, 15B & 15C bus can be taken to Rathmines.
D’Olier Street: 14 bus and 83 bus to Rathmines.
